Stewardship Through Leadership

The Trust is piloting a Stewardship Through Leadership program this summer with youth from Spindle City Corps. Look out for improvements to the Spalding House landscape and and improved Concord River esthetics as their action projects take place.

Summer Solstice Soirée & Art Auction
Jollene Dubner Park, oil painting by Trust Director, Dr. Mark RomanowskyThe Lowell Parks & Conservation Trust kindly thanks our generous supporters of our recent Summer Solstice Soirée & Art Auction benefit. We are thankful to all attendees and to those who sent donations but were unable to attend. Funds raised through the event will support our Concord River programs.

The event, held at the beautiful home of Dr. Mark Romanowsky, included music by the UML String Project, wines from Stonehedge, and several original paintings of Lowell's special places by Dr. Mark Romanowsky.

Doors Open Lowell: Spalding House

On May 17 the Trust held an open house event for Doors Open Lowell. The main attraction exhibited the delicate window restoration process, by Window Woman, shown above before (left) and after (right). LP&CT has received support through two grants for window restoration at the Spalding House.
