Be part of witnessing the historic return of alewife to the Concord River!
During the spring of 2017, we’re expecting a large run of river herring. We need you to help us count the fish, both at the Centennial Island fish ladder and through video monitoring. We provide training on-site at the fish ladder so you can see what this program will involve. You bring your energy and interest in improving the Concord River watershed, and you’ll walk away feeling ready to be a fish monitor!
This program is for all ages. In partnership with US Fish & Wildlife Service, National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration, and Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries.
We will be hosting a 2nd training for those that missed the April 8th training – please RSVP to let us know that you’re interested.
