Instructions: Please use this form, as you are the eyes and the ears of the Trust. You can fill it out and submit it online. Or if you like, print it out, fill in the answers on site and mail it to LP&CT, PO Box 7162, Lowell, MA 01852. Volunteers play a critical role in helping us care for and monitor our properties.   • Are the boundaries and trails clearly marked?
  • Did you meet any of the property abutters? If yes, please list any available contact information.
  • Do the abutters or other local residents use the property for recreational activities (passive or active)?
  • Note any signs that abutters are encroaching on parcel (e.g. Recently cut trees, compost heaps, garbage dumping, or brush piles)
  • Please note trail/property conditions, such as erosion:
  • Are there any problems, such as littering, vandalism, homeless activity, or off-road vehicle traffic that need to be addressed?
  • Please note any interesting trees, plants, and fungi that you observed.
  • Please note any interesting animals (birds, mammals, bugs, fish, frogs, etc.) or signs of wildlife, such as tracks, scat, nests, and burrows that you observed.
  • Please note any invasive plant species. (e.g. common reeds, purple loosestrife, poison ivy, out of control vines/brambles)
  • Please note any volunteer work you have done on the property in the past month.
  • Do you have any suggestions for future projects, such as work parties, trail maintenance, invasive species control, or boundary posting?
  • Would you like to help coordinate a clean-up, tour, or other activity at this property (any other ideas are welcome)?
  • Please describe the location of any site problems, and optionally attach a marked property map. Alternatively, send your map to the office.
