Concord River Greenway - Recreation
The Concord River provides us with a variety of opportunities for recreational activity. River rafting is one exciting option, and is easy to do through the Concord River Whitewater Rafting Program. All proceeds support efforts to continue redeveloping and maintaining the Greenway. The Concord River Greenway way is also an integral part of the Bay Circuit Trail, a 200 mile trail from Newburyport to Kingston, and will connect to the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail from Lowell to Framingham, thereby enhancing biking, rollerblading, jogging, and walking options for local residents.
