40 Days at Basecamp explores a different side of Mt. Everest expeditions in which a mountain considered sacred by locals becomes a business enterprise. As more climbers attempt to summit this mountain, they witness the effects of its commercialization and face new challenges presented by climate change.

Here’s how our Watch Party will work:

Join the watch party on Tuesday, May 31st at 6:30pm, and the film will begin at 7pm. Grab your popcorn and prepare to explore a totally different perspective of this iconic mountain!

During and after the film, we’ll share thoughts, comments, and enjoy group discussion. It’ll be the next best thing to having you with us at the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center!
