The Lowell Parks & Conservation Trust is partnering with the MA Division of Fisheries and Wildlife, Mass Audubon, and the US Fish & Wildlife Service’s Assabet National Wildlife Refuge to host three Family Outdoors Days.  In 2018 Lowell was designated as an Urban Wildlife Refuge Partnership City (one of only 29 in the US) by the US F&WS.young boy holds up a fishing pole and caught fish by the river

Family Outdoors Days will run as a series of three dates: Sat. July 17 (9am-12pm), Wedn. August 11 (5-7pm), and Sat. Sept. 25th (10 am-1pm).  Activities to be offered include fishing, archery, and a wildlife visit.  The July 17th date will be run in honor of Latino Conservation Week, an initiative of the Hispanic Access Foundation.

This is a great opportunity for people of all ages to learn how to fish or do archery.

Time slots are limited to one hour per sign-up.  Twelve people maximum for each hour.
