Celebrating Lowell as an “Urban Wildlife Refuge Partnership City”

Fifty FedEx volunteers celebrated Lowell’s designation as an Urban Wildlife Refuge Partnership City by volunteering on the Concord River Greenway on Wednesday, May 23, 2019.  Volunteers helped monitor fish, remove invasives, paint sign posts, remove fencing, and plant native species.  Our partners with the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge made all the difference providing tools, supplies, and leadership with the teams of volunteers that rotated through several projects.  Thank you for caring about the Greenway as a vital community resource in Lowell, FedEx!
