KRONOS at the Greenway – #GiveInspired
Kronos employees showed us what it meant to #GiveInspired by cleaning up the Lawrence St. section of the Concord River Greenway on Tuesday, September 10, 2019. Over 35 volunteers joined together to spread some TLC throughout this hidden special place.
Volunteers enthusiastically put on waders and fished out long-lost dollies and other curious metal treasures. Others stuck to land – pulling invasive plants, removing trash, freeing native plants, and painting the entrance gate. They even had time to get a head start on spring by spreading mulch, taming wild weeds, and planting over 40 bulbs.
We can’t wait to see the colorful blooms come up in Spring, and we are extremely grateful for this vibrant, dedicated group.
Thanks to our helping hands at Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge for coming together through our Urban Wildlife Refuge Partnership and assisting with tools, leadership, and hard work!
