Discover Local Wildlife & Explore Nature

Join Lowell Parks & Conservation trust for an interactive game exploring local wildlife and their habitats. Together, we will look at close-up photos of local wildlife, and guess the animal the photo belongs to.

After the game, we will be scientists and explore some natural items. Bring something from nature that you want to learn more about so we can discover together! What is that green stuff on the stick you found? Why are these pine needles still green? What is making this branch sticky? Student questions will help drive our exploration and discussion, but program leader, Katie, will have some items as well.
