Explore this historic stretch of the Concord River with Jane Calvin, Executive Director of the Lowell Parks & Conservation Trust.  We’ll walk a section of the Concord River Greenway, learn about new construction for the Greenway, then we’ll walk over to the Centennial Island Fish Ladder.  There, we’ll learn about recent efforts by citizen scientists to restore anadromous fish to the Concord River.  An official Riverfest event.

Parking & Start of Walk: Lowell Cemetery (Lawrence St. entrance)

Wear comfortable shoes.  To access the fish ladder you need to be comfortable using stairs and able to walk on uneven surfaces.
