Explore environmental art history and nature art virtually!

For ages: 9-11 years old

Where: Virtual on Zoom

When: Mondays 3:30 to 4:30 PM

Dates: May 24 – June 28, 2021.

This class is recommended for students ages 9-11. If your student is outside this age range but may enjoy this class, feel free to email LP&CT environmental educator Emily at erwhome1@gmail.com.

Together we will practice our skills in nature drawing while mimicking the art styles of some environmental art greats such as Maria Sibylla Merian and Ernst Haekel!

Live animal sketching will also be a cornerstone of this class.

Our goal is to have fun, make art, and learn some art history along the way!

This is a beginner level science, art and history class.

No prior art experience is required, only interest!
