Explore scientific concepts through art!

Join LP&CT in partnership with Mass Audubon Drumlin Farm to  practice our skills in nature drawing, journaling, 3D art, and more! Live animal sketching will be a cornerstone of this class. From there, we will learn new art skills such as: contour drawing, color, and composition. Our goal is to have fun, make art and learn some natural science along the way. Whether you are more interested in art or in the natural world, this class will combine them both and show how they are connected!

This is a beginner level STEAM class. No prior art experience is required, only interest!

This free class is open to all, but preference will be given to Lowell Public School students. Recommended age group is 3rd through 5th grade. If your student is outside of this age range but would be interested in this subject please email Emily at erwhome1 at gmail.com
