OARS and Lowell Parks & Conservation Trust are looking for volunteers with canoes to help pull invasive water chestnut from the Concord River in Lowell and Billerica. You’ll get instructions on the spot and a morning of good, messy fun helping to restore habitat on the Concord River!

Meeting Place: Muldoon Park, 5 Billerica Street, Lowell

Bring: You’ll need to bring your own canoe or other boat, paddles, bailer (if you have one) and PFD for each boater. Bring hats, sunscreen, and water bottles. Work gloves will be provided.

Wear: Clothes and shoes/sandals that can get wet & dirty. A change of clothes in your car is recommended.
