Explore the Centennial Island Fish Ladder for World Fish Migration Day! Learn about the river herring that use this passageway through Lowell to travel up the Concord River.

We will offer a tour during which you will have a chance to learn more about ongoing conservation efforts and community science projects happening to increase access to herring in this migratory route. This will be a great opportunity to view the fish ladder up close, and witness a part of their incredible journey from the ocean through our rivers right here in Lowell. Feel free to bring friends or family as this event is suitable for all ages!

At this event we will also provide fish monitoring training to anyone that may have missed our earlier training.

This is a FREE event.

Parking on Lawrence Street (near 850 Lawrence St.) in Lowell and from there, we will lead the group to the fish ladder.  Please RSVP for further meet-up details.
