Environmental Youth Task Force to present project to Smithsonian Affliations

The Environmental Youth Task Force is a Lowell based youth group that “strives to educate, inspire, and create change.”

This task force empowers Lowell youth to identify and implement an #EarthOptimism environmental action project within the Lowell community. Since the summer, this group has built knowledge about environmental issues affecting the community and taken action to implement change.

 Lowell High School youth & recent graduates have worked tirelessly on implementing an impactful project that can be scaled within their community and beyond.

On January 19th, they will present this project to Smithsonian Institute and other affliations with the hope of receiving a grant to apply to their project.
