Environmental Educator

Kathy joined the Trust several years ago as a volunteer. In 2017, she officially joined the staff as an environmental educator in our after-school program.

A graduate of the former Lowell State Teachers College, Kathy has a degree in History and Elementary Education. With over forty years of teaching experience, she continues to pursue her passion of teaching children.

Having taught in the past in the Lowell public schools, Kathy was then the Coordinator of Education for the American Textile History Museum for twenty years.

“I am excited to bring a love for history, our rivers, textiles, and language arts component to all the programs.  Local wildlife has a great connection not only to the textiles but to many stories.”
